HIRASHIMA - ORIGINAL MAINTENANCE KIT
Hirashima - Original Maintenance Kit is designed for general table maintenance (applicable for Oil Finish products only). The amount of maintenance oil to be used depends on the condition of the furniture.
The Original Maintenance Kit includes:
- Instruction Manual
- Oil 100ml x 1
- Sandpaper #320 x 2pcs and #240 x 2pcs
- Application wood x 1
- Cloth (for application and wiping) x 2pcs
- Gloves x 2 sets
How to use:
1) Sand the scratches with sand paper (sand with the same direction of wood grain). Wipe off the dust and clean the table until it is fully dried. (For serious scratches, please use #240 sand paper first before using #320 sand paper)
2) Shake the oil until it mixed well before application. Put on the gloves and pour some oil onto the cloth. Apply a thin and even layer on the furniture.
3) After application, leave the oil to soak in for 1-2 hours. Use a dry cloth to wipe away the excess oil on the surface of the furniture.
Precautions for use
- This kit is a maintenance kit for oil finishes only. It cannot be used on products with other finishes.
- When sanding for self-maintenance, please pay attention to whether the wood is solid wood or veneer. In the case of veneer (solid wood sliced into sheets and attached to the surface), sanding too much will expose the inner wood. The material of your furniture will be listed in the instruction manual that comes with the product, so we would appreciate it if you could check it before carrying out the work.
- Oil-soaked rags may spontaneously combust, so be sure to soak them in water or incinerate them after use.
- If the oil has separated, shake the contents well before using.
- Ensure adequate ventilation during painting and drying.
- Do not paint or store in direct sunlight or near open flames.
- Store in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children.
